I highly recommend Yachay Hotel to those that want to explore the Tayrona National park but still want some comfort (i.e.: no hammock or camping). The owners of the hotel are great, nice, welcoming, and attentive.
Very friendly and helpful staff who speak very good English. Comfortable bed; A fan provides a bit of cooling. The shower is only with cold water, which in itself is not a problem at all given the sweltering heat in the Caribbean. The hotel reserved space in a van that drives to the starting point of the park, which is a plus as the walk to it is along a boring asphalt road.
A nice place to rest and enjoy Tayrona Park A very good hotel where you can enjoy good rooms, good beds and delicious food. You are inside the Tayrona Park and very close to other nice natural attractions like rivers, springs, etc. You can walk among the trees and besides the sea.
Beautiful Jungle Retreat We loved our stay at Yachay overall. The location is perfect. If you want to stay overnight in Tayrona but don't want to rent a hammock or sleep in a tent or spend $500 a night at the expensive eco lodge, Yachay is perfect for you.
Nice accommodation in the middle of the jungle The hotel is located about 600 meters from the entrance El Zaino inside the Tayrona Park. However, it is not very close to the first beach you can swim on, La Piscina. What I did was walk the 600 meters to the entrance and then take a bus for $3.000 COP to the drop-off point. Can highly recommend this. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. And the staff adds the mane.
Best Night in Colombia Had the most amazing and relaxing overnight at this hotel. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. If you go to the park I recommend staying here 100%. The people are very friendly and laid back. If I every go back I will absolutely stay here again.

After entering Tayrona Park through the Zaino, you have two ways to get to our Eco Habs. The first option is that you can walk until you reach Yachay Tayrona, it is around 15 minutes. The second option is to take a collective or bus at the entrance that provides transportation within the Tayrona Park, this has an approximate cost of $5,000 COP per person.
